Paraskevas Kafkaros specialises in civil and commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on contract and negligence claims involving private and public bodies, as well as libel and media law, insolvency, property, inheritance and construction disputes.

He also has experience in obtaining and defending injunctions, including worldwide freezing orders, disclosure and receivership orders. His work also involves recognizing and enforcing foreign judgments and arbitral awards in Cyprus while obtaining and defending preliminary commercial injunctions.

Also, he is currently advising and representing major public organisations in a range of contentious and non-contentious matters in various practice areas, including administrative law.

He is currently handling many complex disputes, a great number of which involves foreign parties and multiple jurisdictions, as well as cases of high profile or of significant value, before the District Courts, Special Jurisdiction Courts, the Administrative Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Courts of Cyprus.

Paraskevas holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Essex and a Master of Laws in Human Rights Law from the University College London.

He is a member of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2023 and a member of the Licensing Review Authority since 2026.

Paraskevas qualified as an Advocate in 2020 and he is a registered Arbitrator of the Cyprus Consumer Center for ADR since 2021.
